Lux Arctica - New Exhibition open

The theme of the new exhibition at the Desing House IDOL is “LUX ARCTICA”. The name refers to the lights of the north as well as luxury, embodied by good design and high quality. The unique lights of Northern Lapland come alive in the soft blueness of the polar lights, the brightness of the early spring snow and the golden midnight sun, and provide a perfect setting for a light exhibition. The visiting IDOL, a pioneer in the modern LED -technique as well as fibre optics, SAAS Instruments Oy provides an unforgettable lighting to the design on show. SAAS is also showcasing its incredible range of designer lighting, that has been designed by MIKKO PAAKKANEN, HARRI KOSKINEN, TIMO SALLI and YRJÖ KUKKAPURO, to mention a few.

In addition to the regular Idols and SAAS, the other guests at LUX ARCTICA include Nathalie Lahdenmäki, Janne Kyttänen, Kristiina Lassus and Camilla Moberg. The special quests for the event are the maestros Eero Aarnio and Oiva Toikka!
